Spoken Portraits: Collective Embroidery Sessions
In 2025, Spoken Portraits brought people together across Tilburg through a unique project that connected personal stories with embroidery. During a series of encounters, participants collaboratively stitched these stories into shared textile portraits, creating meaningful connections through craft.
In 2026, we continue this journey.
Join us for relaxed, bi-weekly embroidery sessions where we will keep working on the Spoken Portraits together. These gatherings are a chance to slow down, step away from daily routines, and engage in a mindful, creative process. Whether you’re experienced with embroidery or completely new, everyone is welcome.
Come by, meet new people, share stories, and contribute your stitches to a growing collective artwork.
