About the event
What does belonging taste like? What memories do we carry in our hands? And what happens when three stories meet around the same table?
Along the Way is a collective exhibition and community gathering shaped by three immigrant women(Nazlı Meriç Çukurova,Sure Koşulgan and Laura Mendez)brought together by a shared quest for belonging.
Throughout the evening, three artistic projects will converge in one space, creating a place to pause, connect, and reflect on what it means to make a home somewhere new.
As part of the exhibition, we invite you to join a special Craft Tellers Room. Together, we’ll sit around the table, learn the basics of embroidery on paper, and stitch directly onto Sure’s photographs. As our hands get busy, Meriç will guide a conversation around food, memory, nostalgia, migration and belonging.
